Dhea has always cherished places where healing happens slowly — where there’s no rush, just comfort.
In contrast, life today feels hectic and fast-paced. She often misses her home in Finland, where calmness and space to breathe were part of everyday life. Here in Singapore, every step outside feels like entering a whirlwind — people rushing, constantly agitated by the speed of it all.
She’s made a conscious decision not to get swept into that system — not to pay high rent just to turn tables quickly and push customers out so the next one can come in. That’s not the experience she wants to offer.
The main reason for relocating is to reduce overhead costs and find a bigger space — a peaceful oasis still located in the central part of Singapore.
She envisions a place where customers can walk in and feel at ease — where they’re warmly welcomed by staff, offered a cool drink or a hot latte, and invited to help themselves to light snacks. A space where they can slow down, breathe, and just be.
More than a shop, Dhea wants to create a little sanctuary — Petra Haven — where time slows down, and it’s okay to take a break, to pause, to enjoy.
